The Story

Our brushes are made in the very south of India as a part of our brush partners mission of creating a cluster of small brush-making units utilising the local abundance of coconut coir and scrap wood. The unit focuses on the training and employment of women from the local villages, which helps strengthen women's position in the community, resulting in a more robust society. This is especially important in this area as it is prone to natural disasters, which can be mitigated through rural development and skill-based local job opportunities. Read more.
